Get inside the place
Some trips show you a new place; others make you feel you live somewhere else. Bali is exactly that: tropical jungle and ancient temples, rice terraces fading into the horizon, volcanic land running into the Indian Ocean. From Tegalalang and the Monkey Forest to Lake Beratan, the Handara gates and inland waterfalls, we discover the island through four full-day tours: Adventure, Instagram, Nature and Beaches. 6 nights in Ubud, 3 in Seminyak, and five free days to live Bali at our own pace — together.

Day by day
The itinerary
We meet at Athens airport and fly to Bali via Singapore, with an overnight layover. Meanwhile we enjoy the world's most impressive airport, complete with a waterfall and a skytrain running right through it.
The adventure begins! Arrival at Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) and an authentic Balinese welcome: our local partner greets us with the traditional flower garland, a symbol of hospitality and good wishes. Transfer to the hotel, rest, and in the evening the first Dream Route group dinner.
Our first full-day trip introduces Ubud. We visit the Monkey Forest and Ubud Water Palace, continue to the Tegalalang rice terraces and end the day at Cretya Ubud, overlooking the green landscape. Swings, zip line and other extras are optional.
A day full of Bali. We head inland to Lake Beratan and the setting of Ulun Danu Beratan, then on to the Handara gates and Leke Leke waterfall in the jungle. The day also includes a chocolate factory visit to discover Balinese cacao.
Today you choose the plan. Shops and cafés in Ubud, the pool, or an optional experience such as rafting & ATV, a day trip to Nusa Penida & snorkeling, Bali Safari, Elephant Park, a dolphin tour or the Volcano Batur Sunrise Jeep.
Bali's wild side. Nature takes the lead: the Tegenungan and Kanto Lampo waterfalls, a stop at traditional Batuan Village and a coffee plantation to learn about local plants and how coffee and tea are made.
One more free day in Ubud. Jungle adventure, pool time or something you've long wanted to try? Pick from the optional experiences: rafting & ATV, Nusa Penida & snorkeling, Bali Safari, Elephant Park, dolphin tour or Volcano Batur Sunrise Jeep.
Breakfast and departure from Ubud. Transfer to Four Points by Sheraton Bali Seminyak for 3 nights. After check-in the day is free for the pool, strolls and a first taste of Seminyak. Swimsuit essential!
A day for Melasti and Dreamland beaches. Then Uluwatu Temple, with clifftop views over the Indian Ocean, and the Kecak dance at sunset — tickets included. We end with a dinner stop in Jimbaran. One of those sunsets that need no filter.
One last perfect day in Bali, dedicated to what Bali does best: beach life, sea and relaxation. The last night of a Dream Route trip is when you realise how much you've lived in just a few days.
We don't say goodbye, we say see you on the next Dream Route. Breakfast, free time until the afternoon flight and transfer to Ngurah Rai airport. New images, new stories, new people — and already the question: “Where to next?”

Practical, no small print
Transport in Bali is by private coach or minivans. For some distances and excursions, local vehicles with drivers may be used.
Travel to Bali requires a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival.
Visa requirements and applicable fees are confirmed before departure, depending on the traveller’s nationality.

May is a wonderful time to discover Bali. The island gradually enters the dry season, bringing warm days, plenty of sunshine and lush landscapes that still retain the vibrancy of the preceding months. It’s the perfect time to explore rice terraces, temples and waterfalls, enjoy the beaches and make the most of every part of our journey. As Bali is a tropical destination, a brief rain shower is still possible.
For our trip in May, pack lightweight clothing to stay comfortable on warm days, along with practical essentials for excursions, beach visits and exploring Bali:
- Lightweight, breathable clothing, swimwear, a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen
- Comfortable walking shoes with good grip, plus sandals for the beach
- A lightweight raincoat, as brief tropical showers are possible
- Clothing that covers your shoulders and knees for temple visits. A sarong may also be required at certain sites
- A light jacket or cardigan for the flight or air-conditioned spaces
In Bali, you can purchase a local SIM card or install an eSIM before your trip, provided your phone supports it. Check the coverage, validity period and data allowance before purchasing. We recommend Vodafone Travel eSIM, MyeSIM or Revolut eSIM, but you’re welcome to explore other options.
The local currency is the Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). It’s useful to carry some cash for small shops, markets and everyday purchases. Cards are generally accepted at hotels, larger restaurants and established shops. Always check the exchange rate and any applicable card fees before making a transaction.
As a guide, you can budget €300–€500 per person for personal expenses. The amount will depend on meals not included in the itinerary, shopping and your chosen optional activities.
As with any trip abroad, it’s a good idea to bring basic medication, such as painkillers, fever reducers, anti-nausea medication, sunscreen and anything else you think you may need. Medication for stomach upsets is an essential item to pack for this trip.

Absolutely! It might just be the best decision of your trip! If you’re travelling solo, we can pair you with another traveller of the same gender in a twin room. Single rooms are not available on this trip.
